I had a nice surprise yesterday. Every three months the ladies in our community (we live in an over 55 community) get together for a luncheon. It started as coffee and we took turns having it at our homes. Now it has grown so much we have a venue. Yesterday it was at Ponderosa. I hadn't been there in at least 25 years and I was nicely impressed. The food was really good. That's not the surprise altho kinda. In our newsletter they mentioned a lady that stamps and to contact her if you were interested. I assumed (and you know what happens when you do that!) she was a Stampin up gal and I have one so I didn't call. Turns out she just makes cards and used to have some sort of company but not now. It was signs or stenciling or something like that. Then she also has a dog and doesn't leave it in a kennel so she is looking for someone to trade dog sitting with. We talked and got a little acquainted and she said she will call me and bring the dog over to see if they are compatible. It would be nice to do that as Molly gets so upset at the kennel. They only let them out three times a day and that's not enough. They always wash her blankets and I know why! We'll see what happens with the dog and the cardmaking. I think bartering may make a come back. I am thinking of raising cows and chickens in the back yard to pay our doctors since medicare may be in jeopardy. Finally started on Halloween cards too. Here is the one for granddaughter.  It didn't photograph well.  I got down right in front of it and the flash didn't show on it but it still is weird. This is made with NBUS per Darnell. The ghosts are rub ons. They have been around a long time in my stash! I don't know if they still make rub ons.  Be kind to each other.

Lucky you meeting someone you may be able to trade doggie dates for, and possibly even making a new stamping buddy. It always helps to have someone you can learn different ways of doing things. Loved your delightful Halloween card...Your little ghosts are delightful, and your granddaughter will love that you made this sweet card for her. TFS & Hugs

You've made another great Halloween card with those adorable ghosts, Brenda! I think that is so fantastic that you have made a new friend who makes cards and is interested in a dog-sitting swap! I've got my fingers crossed that it works out for both of you!! Great job using that NBUS!! Hugs, Darnell
